School of Rock

My son has gone to School of Rock for around a year and a half. He absolutely loves going to his lessons. He takes bass lessons and now moved up to lessons twice a week. His mother is trying to get him in group lessons next, then we’ll look to see about trying out for one of their performances. He’s had two different teachers, and both have been wonderful, having a lot of patience with him while he learns. I would definitely recommend!

I have never been more happy to come to a school before. The absolute best people are here and coming here every Friday genuinely helps me get through the week. I have learned so much here and it’s so cool getting to work with such talented kids. It’s so cool because you’re not only a part of a band but also a family. My son has been going to School of Rock- Port Jefferson for about 2 years now, he has overcome his fear of being on stage and performing in front of people. The staff have the patience to teach our children and allow them to build confidence.

I would recommend School of Rock to everyone! All the staff and students are so welcoming and kind. I’ve grown so much as a guitarist from many aspects of SoR as well as made many friends. Additionally all the venues are such an amazing experience. I highly recommend to anyone who has a love of music :))

I highly recommend the School Of Rock in Port Jefferson Station. My son started over 5 years ago with no musical instrument experience and now he is playing the drums in a band in front of an audience at venues. Its a very warm and welcoming experience with very talented staff.
